Amber Fest with Kind Neighbors is a battle stage in Guilty Gear -Strive-. The stage came as separate DLC content along with Slayer's release in Version 1.37.[1]

Design

Amber Fest with Kind Neighbors follows the standard set up of -Strive- stages with three "areas" that it transitions between after Wall-Breaks and charged Dust follow-ups. The stage takes place at night in a snowy town that appears to be named "Aurora."

The starting area is in a town-square of sorts with many shops. A gift shop, a shop with a sign saying "Hot Drink," a shop with a sign saying "Food & Soup" can be made out. A shop has a light up sign above the store saying "North End Energy of AURORA". People in winter clothing can be seen shopping and greeting each other. Neon lights reminiscent of Christmas decorations can be seen in throughout the town. While nothing explicitly gives this stage a time-frame it takes place, the events of -Strive- do take place in the month of December, with some events beyond the Story Mode being said to happen on December 24th,[2] Christmas Eve. The aurora borealis can be seen happening in the night sky, with mountains and other parts of town further uphill in the distance. Bonebiters can be seen occasionally flying around in the background. Shovels with zilpods can be seen being left in the snow, along with crates and bottles.

The area to the right of the starting area is by a fountain statue of a masked womanly figure continously pouring a jug of water into the river. Wolves can be seen laying by the water. Candles are set out on the side of the river. Ruined and tilted pillars are along the area. Train tracks are built in the river to allow the train to pass through shallow waters. The rest of the river besides these tracks are quite deep. Occasionally, a train comes passing by marked with text "Special Unreserved GreatDipper" on both sides of each cart, along with a logo in the center. The ground the players stand on, as well as the pillars, have engravings that appears to depict the same figure as the statue holding up some sort of artifact. Massive spikes of ice can be seen on the across the stage, but most prominently on the far right side.

The area to the left of the starting area takes the players to a train station, a sign reading "Aurora Station since 1956 Welcome to the Land of Aurora and Snow" can be seen above a building. An old man and woman can be seen talking outside of the Aurora Station building. On the far left side, a snowman with a bucket hat, scarf, and screws for eyes can be seen being built by a child. A clock can be seen that puts the stage as occurring at 3:05, presumably AM. A message warning about possibly train delays due to the weather. A map that, when extracted, show Aurora being to the west of Illyria. On the far right, the train will arrive and drop off passengers. One of them will step off the train and go to hug the child that was building the snowman. Employees in uniform can be seen tending to the train platform. The train will again leave, showing that it also is transporting large stacks of timber. Two massive gears can be seen spinning along the train tracks.

Trivia

  • While not confirmed, the presence of Bonebiters, train stations, and the general architecture of the buildings looking similar may indicate that this stage is supposed to be the town featured in Another Story at risk of Delilah's rampage.
    • If this is to be believed, then Aurora would have a population of 120,000 people.[3]
