The company responsible for development and marketing for the Guilty Gear franchise. The name is not derived from the Ark of the Covenant, but in fact is an acronym for "Action Revolution Challenge."

The company was founded in 1988, and developed many of its own projects, including major titles like Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.

While Arc is most well-known for its 2D fighting games, they also make other titles across a wide array of genres. Arc's key directors are Daisuke Ishiwatari and Toshimichi Mori
