Genau genommen ist jeder ein Kopfgeldjäger, der ein Kopfgeld einstreicht. Für gewöhnlich sind damit jedoch Personen gemeint, die ihren Unterhalt mit der Kopfgeldjagd bestreiten. Sol ist eine solche Person.
In der Guilty Gear-Reihe wird ein Kopfgeld von 500.000 W$ auf Dizzy ausgesetzt, das sofort Dutzende von Kopfgeldjägern anlockt, die das schnelle Geld machen wollen. Sie begeben sich in den Wald der Dämonen, werden jedoch schnell abgewehrt.
Técnicamente, el término se aplica a cualquiera que reúna los requisitos para cobrar una recompensa, pero describe más habitualmente a quienes dedican su vida a ello, como Sol.
Se ofreció una recompensa de 500 000 W$ por Dizzy que atrajo inmediatamente a montones de cazarrecompensas que buscaban hacerse ricos rápido. Se adentraban en el Bosque de los Demonios para buscarla, pero no tardaba en ahuyentarlos.
