주민들은 모두 기어지만 이률리아 연방 안에 위치해 있으므로 사람들의 출입이 끊이지 않는다. 그로 인해 기어와 인간들이 섞여 있는 매우 떠들썩한 풍경이 곳곳에 펼쳐져 있다.
왕국이라 주장하긴 하나 실질적으로는 공화제를 채용하고 있다.
『하늘의 강』을 의미하는 「비알라티아」란 이름에는 기어와 인간의 융화에 대한 염원이 담겨져 있으며, 국민투표에 의해 결정된 것이다.
Dr.패러다임을 비롯한 우수한 두뇌를 지닌 기어들의 노력으로 나날이 눈부신 발전을 이루고 있는 점, 또 재위 시기부터 인기가 높았던 카이・디지가 다스리는 나라이기 때문에 이률리아에서는 비알라티아와 인접한 곳의 땅값이 수 배로 뛰었다고 한다.

『天の河』を意味する「ヴィアラティア」という名にはギアと人の融和への願いが込められており、国民投票によって決定されたものである。
Dr.パラダイムをはじめとする優秀な頭脳を持ったギア達の尽力により日々目覚ましい発展を遂げていること、また在位時代から人気の高かったカイ・ディズィーが治める国ということで、ヴィアラティアと隣接するイリュリア領地の地価は数倍に跳ね上がったという。

Only Gears reside there, but people constantly move through the kingdom due to its position within the Federation of Illyria. This makes it a lively, thriving place where Gears and humans intermingle.
A kingdom in name only, it functions as a republic in practice.
The name Vialattea, meaning "Milky Way," is one chosen by popular vote, expressing the desire for reconciliation between Gears and humanity.
Due to the constant developments led by highly intelligent Gears such as Dr. Paradigm as well as the leadership of the well-loved Ky and Dizzy, the property values of the neighboring regions in Illyria have skyrocketed.

居民只有机兵，但由于国土位于伊利里亚联邦境内，出入者络绎不绝。也因此四处都能看到机兵和人混在一起，非常热闹的景象。
虽然名字叫王国，实际上的政体是共和制。
“维亚拉特阿”这个名字意为“天上的河流”，包含了机兵与人和睦共处的美好愿景，是由国民投票决定的。
在帕勒戴姆博士带领的优秀智囊机兵团队的努力下，维亚拉特阿发展得格外迅速。另外，由于两位统治者凯和迪兹从前在位之时便广受爱戴，据说维亚拉特阿附近的伊利里亚地皮价格翻了好几番。
