Testament's stage

Testament's stage is an unnamed location in the Guilty Gear series. It appears as tenth stage of Normal Mode in Guilty Gear, serving as Testament's battle stage.

Design

The stage seems to be large stone balcony connected to a thin, suspended staircase leading up to an inverted castle-like structure in the air, possibly Heaven. Headless suits of armor stand along the staircase, and angel statues sit atop its pillars. While the angels on the pillars are kneeling and cowering, a larger angel at the main balcony stands upright beside a stack of skulls, with indecipherable text engraved on the pedestal. The dark sky and surrounding scenery are tinted red by the glowing full moon.

Story

During the Second Holy Order Selection Tournament, Testament appears before the victor, revealing that the true purpose of the tournament is to revive Justice. After the battle, Testament exclaims only one more person's blood is needed to revive Justice—their own. As Justice is revived, the victor proceeds to the Heaven stage to battle her.
