각국에서 보낸 정보로 범죄조직의 실태를 파악하는 분석자이기도 하다.
또, 카이의 젊은 사고방식에 충고하거나 차를 따라주는 등, 카이에게 있어서는 어느 정도 부모와 비슷한 존재감을 갖고 있다.
마른 외모와 침착한 행동이 주위의 분위기를 부드럽게 만들지만, 성전 시에는 입에 올리기도 무서운 별명이 있었던 듯하다.

Bernard is a former Knight-Commander in the Sacred Order of Holy Knights and currently serves Ky as his butler. He communicates with Ky through his Holy Order medal and monitors communications across the globe to identify and gather information on terrorist threats, reporting his discoveries to Ky as he makes them.
In addition to his more questionable duties, he also educates Ky, reins in the younger man's overzealous instincts, and brings him tea. In a way, he's rather like an older version of Ky.
His rather slender physique would imply he may not carry himself well in combat, but do not let that appearance fool you. For evidently, he has earned himself a nickname while in the service that people, to this day, dare not say.

有时他还会劝诫凯不成熟的想法，以及为他泡茶等等，因此对凯来说，他的立场有一点像父亲。

他也是個分析師，他以各國送來的資訊，掌握犯罪組織的實際狀況。
此外，他也會對凱青澀的思考進行諫言、陪凱喝茶，對凱來說，就像是他的雙親。
纖瘦的外型和穩重的態度，給人一種溫和的印象，但據說他在聖戰時，擁有令人聞風喪膽的別稱。
Neben seinen eher fragwürdigeren Aufgaben lehrt er Ky, hält die übereifrigen Instinkte des jüngeren Mannes in Zaum und bringt ihm Tee. In gewisser Weise ist er eine ältere Version von Ky.
Sein eher schlanker Körperbau lässt vermuten, dass er im Kampf keine gute Figur macht, doch man sollte sich von seiner Erscheinung nicht täuschen lassen. Offensichtlich hat er sich im Dienst nämlich einen Spitznamen erarbeitet, den die Leute bis heute nicht auszusprechen wagen.
