His helicopter crashes during the Cradle Incident. A closer examination of the scene where Elphelt awakens, we see a burnt helicopter in the background. Nonetheless, through a twist of fate and a lot of luck, both him and his crew manage to survive.

His helicopter crashed when he was doing a live report during the Cradle Incident. Although the helicopter he was in was burnt to a crisp during the crash, both he and his crew managed to survive through a twist of fate and luck.

Während des Wiege-Zwischenfalls stürzt sein Hubschrauber ab. Wie durch ein Wunder überlebten Lumin und seine Crew, obwohl der Hubschrauber komplett ausbrannte.
Su helicóptero se estrelló mientras realizaba un reportaje en directo durante el Incidente de la Cuna. A pesar de que el helicóptero se abrasó, por un capricho del destino y mucha suerte, tanto él como su tripulación lograron sobrevivir.
