자토가 사용한 금주 중 하나.
제5법 「식정영진」은 빛을 잃는(맹인이 되는) 것을 대가로 사용자에게 그림자를 자유롭게 조종하는 힘을 주는 금주. 이 애프터 리스크는 옛 학자가 사용을 금하기 위해 프로그램 기동의 패스코드로 「시계 차단」을 선택했기 때문이다. 정체는 금수를 그림자에 빙의시키는 마법이며, 너무 많이 쓰면 생명을 위협하는 매우 위험한 법술이다. 프로그램 기동 패스코드가 다른 것이었다면, 자토의 인생도 달라졌을지도 모른다.

ザトーが使用した禁呪のうちの一つ。
第五法「蝕精影陣」は、光を失う（盲目になる）ことを代償に行使者に影を自在に操る力を授ける禁呪。このアフターリスクは昔の学者が使用を禁じる為にプログラム起動のパスコードとして「視界の遮断」を選んでいたためである。実態は禁獣を影に憑依させる魔法であり、使いすぎると生命を脅かす非常に危険な法術である。プログラム起動のパスコードが他のものだったなら、ザトーの人生もまた変わっていたのかもしれない。

The 5th Forbidden Magic Spell, Life-Eating Shadow. In exchange for his eyesight, Zato gained the power to manipulate shadows. The reason for this was that the researcher who discovered the spell was so afraid of its effects he put a seal of protection on the spell which required anyone who cast it to give up their sight.
To be more specific, however, the spell actually binds a forbidden beast to the caster's shadow. Using the shadow too much will begin to erode the host's life force. If the cost for this spell had been something else, perhaps Zato's life would have been much different.

第五法「蝕精影陣」能賦予使用者隨心所欲操縱影子的能力，但代價是失去光明（失明）。過去的學者為了禁止他人使用，才選擇「遮蔽視線」來當作程式啟動的密碼。這種魔法實際上是讓禁獸附身在宿主的影子中，若過度使用，就會對宿主的生命造成威脅的危險法術。如果當初有其他啟動密碼，扎特的人生或許會有所不同吧。
Genauer gesagt, bindet der Zauberspruch eine verbotene Bestie an den Schatten des Anwenders. Wird der Schatten zu oft benutzt, wird die Lebenskraft des Wirtes allmählich aufgezehrt. Hätte dieser Zauberspruch andere Kosten gehabt, wäre Zatos Leben vielleicht ganz anders verlaufen.
A efectos técnicos, el hechizo enlaza a una bestia prohibida a la sombra de quien lo lanza. Si el anfitrión se sirve demasiado de la sombra, su vida comienza a erosionarse. Si el precio por este hechizo hubiese sido algo distinto, tal vez la vida de Zato habría sido muy diferente.
En réalité, le sort lie une bête défendue à l'ombre du lanceur. Un usage trop fréquent consume la vie de l'hôte. L'existence de Zato aurait peut-être été bien différente si le sort avait exigé un autre moyen de paiement.
A voler essere più specifici, l'incantesimo lega una bestia proibita all'ombra dell'esecutore. Usando l'ombra troppo spesso, la forza vitale dell'ospite comincia a venire consumata. Se il costo di questo incantesimo fosse stato qualcos'altro, forse la vita di Zato sarebbe stata diversa.
