13年周期で起こるとされる原因不明の大規模な落雷現象。
10月の下旬～11月の初旬にかけて発生する。

聖戦時代、ギアの大軍団に攻めこまれた人類が最後の砦である首都を背水の陣で防衛していた際、この落雷がギアの一団に降り注ぎ、戦局を覆したという歴史がある。以来この大落雷を指して「セントエルモの灯」と呼び、人類を救った落雷として祝われている。

A massive, mysterious bolt of lightning that strikes once every 13 years. The exact date varies, but it usually happens during the end of October or the beginning of November.

During the Crusades, hundreds of Gears laid siege to Illyria. Humankind was backed, quite literally, into a corner. Just when things were at their grimmest, however, this tremendous bolt of lightning descended from the heavens and obliterated the Gear horde. Since then it has been known as St. Elmo's Fire, and is revered as the bolt that saved humankind.

10월 하순～11월 초순에 걸쳐 발생한다.

성전 시대, 기어의 대군단에 포위당한 인류가 최후의 요새인 수도를 배수의 진으로 방위하고 있었을 때, 이 낙뢰가 기어 무리에게 쏟아져 전세를 뒤집었다는 역사가 있다. 이후 이 대낙뢰를 가리켜 「세인트 엘모의 불」이라 부르며, 인류를 구한 낙뢰로서 기념하고 있다.

圣战时期，人类在最后的阵地——伊利里亚首都准备与步步紧逼的机兵大部队背水一战之时，就是因为这种落雷劈中机兵大队，才扭转了败局。之后人们叫这种落雷为“圣艾尔摩之火”，称颂它拯救了人类。

大規模落雷現象，據說以每13年為一個週期，原因不明。
於10月下旬到11月上旬左右發生。

聖戰時代，有過這樣一段歷史——當GEAR大軍攻入人類最後的堡壘，也就是首都後，人類背水一戰，進行防衛時，這場落雷打中了GEAR大軍，讓戰局翻盤。後來大家都稱這拯救人類的落雷為「聖艾爾摩之火」，大肆慶祝。

Ein gewaltiger, geheimnisvoller Blitz, der alle 13 Jahre einschlägt. Das genaue Datum variiert, doch normalerweise findet dieses Ereignis Ende Oktober oder Anfang November statt.

Während der Kreuzzüge belagerten Hunderte Gears Illyria. Die Menschheit wurde im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes in die Ecke gedrängt. Doch gerade als es am schlimmsten war, fuhr ein gewaltiger Blitz vom Himmel herab und löschte die Gear-Horde aus. Dieses Phänomen ist seither als Elmsfeuer bekannt und wird als der Blitz verehrt, der die Menschheit rettete.

Durante las Cruzadas, cientos de Gears asediaron Iliria. La humanidad quedó literalmente acorralada. No obstante, en el peor momento, un enorme rayo cayó del cielo y destruyó la horda de Gears. Desde entonces se lo conoce como el fuego de san Telmo y se lo venera por haber salvado a la humanidad.

Un éclair aussi énorme que mystérieux, qui frappe tous les 13 ans. Le jour exact peut varier, mais tombe généralement entre fin octobre et début novembre.

Lors des Croisades, des centaines de Gears assiègent Illyria. Les humains se retrouvent acculés. Alors que tout semble perdu, la foudre s'abat du ciel et oblitère les assaillants. Depuis, on le nomme Feu de St Elmo, l'éclair qui a sauvé l'humanité.

Un enorme e misterioso fulmine che colpisce ogni 13 anni. La data esatta varia, ma solitamente avviene tra la fine di ottobre e l'inizio di novembre.

Durante le Crociate, centinaia di Gear cinsero d'assedio Illyria. L'umanità era letteralmente all'angolo. Proprio quando la situazione sembrava volgere al peggio, un fulmine tremendo si schiantò sull'orda di Gear, annientandola. Da allora viene chiamato "fuoco di sant'Elmo" ed è venerato come il fulmine che ha salvato il genere umano.
