츠요시식 인술의 창시자이자, 닌자의 기술을 이어받은 일본인.
치프의 은인이자 스승이기도 하다.
당시 거칠어져 있었던 치프를 갱생시켜 체술뿐만 아니라 인간으로서 사는 법, 친절한 마음을 전수한 남자. 조직에서 쓸모없는 치프를 처리하라는 명령을 받았지만, 어째서인지 치프를 살려주고 제자로 삼는다. 수년 동안 조직에 몸담으며 자토 체포에도 협력했다.
그러나 치프의 목숨을 구해준 일이 치프를 마약 바이어로 이용하던 조직에게 들켜, 마지막엔 조직에게 암살당하고 만다.

組織から役立たずとしてチップを始末するよう命じられるが、 なぜかチップを助け、 弟子にする。 数年組
織に身を置き、ザトー逮捕にも協力した。
しかし、チップの命を助けた事が、 チップを麻薬のバイヤーとして利用していた組織に疎まれる結果とな
り、最後は組織に暗殺されてしまう。彼の物語は小説「ギルティギアゼクス胡蝶と疾風」に克明に描か
れている。

Tsuyoshi is the founder of the Tsuyoshi school of ninjutsu and was one of the few ninja arts practitioners. He hailed from Japan and is Chipp's savior and teacher.
He taught Chipp not only the path of the ninja but also the path of moral, righteous action. They initially met when Tsuyoshi, an assassin, was told to kill Chipp. For reasons known only to him, he chose to spare the boy instead and made him his pupil. He remained with the organization that had ordered him to kill Chipp for a time, but once they learned the truth, they were not pleased with his decision and placed a bounty on his head...one which would eventually kill him.

他是毅式忍术的创始者，也是继承了忍者绝技的日本人。
是奇普的恩人，也是他的恩师。
当年，是他让走上歪路的奇普重获新生，不仅传授他体术，还教了他做人的方法和关怀他人的心。组织要求他除掉已经无用的奇普，他却不知为何救了奇普的命，还收其做徒弟。毅长年在组织中活动，还协助逮捕了扎特。
然而组织原本要利用奇普贩毒，毅却救了奇普，因此受到猜忌，最终被组织暗杀。
是繼承忍者技能的日本人，也是毅式忍術的創始者，
是奇普的恩人，也是師父。
讓當時荒唐度日的奇普重生。這個男人教給他的不只是體術，還有身為人的生活方式、以及寬大的胸懷。雖然一開始組織命令他把沒用的奇普給解決掉，他卻救了奇普，還收他為徒。數年間一直待在組織中，也協助逮捕扎特。
但是，由於他救了奇普，讓利用奇普遠離利用他當毒品買家的組織，最後遭到組織暗殺。
Er lehrte Chipp nicht nur den Weg des Ninja, sondern brachte ihm auch bei, moralisch und rechtschaffen zu handeln. Die beiden lernten sich kennen, als der Assassine Tsuyoshi den Auftrag erhielt, Chipp zu töten. Aus Gründen, die nur Tsuyoshi kennt, entschied er sich stattdessen, den Jungen zu verschonen und ihn zu seinem Schüler zu machen. Tsuyoshi blieb eine Zeit lang bei der Organisation, die ihm befohlen hatte, Chipp zu töten, doch als diese die Wahrheit erfuhr, war sie über seine Entscheidung alles andere als erfreut und setzte ein Kopfgeld auf Tsuyoshi aus ... was schließlich zu seinem Tod führen sollte.
No solo le enseñó a Chipp el camino del ninja, sino también el camino de la acción moral y justa. Se conocieron cuando Tsuyoshi, entonces un asesino, recibió la orden de matar a Chipp. Por razones que solo él sabría, eligió perdonar al chico y convertirlo en su discípulo. Se quedó en la organización que le había ordenado matar a Chipp durante un tiempo, pero cuando descubrieron la verdad, no les gustó su decisión y ofrecieron una recompensa por su cabeza: una que finalmente lo mataría.
Il lui enseigne non seulement la voie du ninja, mais aussi des principes moraux. Quand ils se rencontrent, Tsuyoshi, qui est alors un assassin, a pour mission de tuer le garçon. Pour une raison que lui seul connaît, il choisit d'épargner Chipp et d'en faire son élève. Il reste ensuite quelque temps dans l'organisation qui lui avait demandé d'abattre son disciple, mais celle-ci, mécontente de son choix, met bientôt sa tête à prix... et finit par arriver à ses fins.
Ha insegnato a Chipp non solo il cammino del ninja, ma anche il cammino dell'azione retta e morale. Si sono conosciuti quando Tsuyoshi, un assassino, fu incaricato di uccidere Chipp. Per ragioni solo a lui note, decise invece di risparmiare il ragazzo e trasformarlo in suo allievo. Per un po' rimase nell'organizzazione che gli aveva ordinato di uccidere Chipp, ma quando questa scoprì la verità, non fu contenta della sua scelta e mise una taglia sulla testa di Tsuyoshi... che alla fine avrebbe portato alla sua morte.
La sua storia è narrata nel romanzo "Guilty Gear X – The Butterfly and Her Gale".
