Jeon Ryok Residence
The Jeon Ryok Residence is a location in the Guilty Gear series, being both Kum Haehyun's family estate and her battle stage. It is also her workplace, functioning as a hospital.[1]
Design
The Jeon Ryok Residence is a fully indoor city. The only residences are Haehyun herself, and many various maids that Haehyun has hired. Most of the maids have lost their families, and have been offered employment by Haehyun so that they may have a steady source of income and a place to reside.[1] The stage takes place on a bridge looking out onto the city. The city is built with a futuristic take on traditional Korean architecture. Maids will walk across the bridge and the connecting path on the right, either carrying various objects or sweeping the floor in groups.
At the start of Round 1, on the right side of the stage, Da-Eun can be seen blowing up red balloons with the letter "Z" on them, and letting them float upwards into lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The balloons cause them to light up, likely due to them having some Zeal based energy.
When the camera tilts to pan upwards, such as with charged follow ups, you can see the skylight roof overhead that surrounds the estate. The weather shows a clear sky with few clouds.
Story
The Jeon Ryuk residence is seen briefly at the start of Haehyun's Episode Mode route. She is seen healing a patient with her Tuning skills. Haehyun talks to Da-Eun about needing to meet up with "Letter J" about disease infecting the Japanese Colony. She leaves Da-Eun in charge of the estate while she goes to investigate.[2]
Trivia
The maids on that walk along the bridges and halls on the left side of the background are 2D textures.
