Liam O'Brien

Liam O'Brien is an American voice actor who has played several characters in Guilty Gear's English dubs starting with Guilty Gear 2 -Overture- in 2007 where he would play Ky Kiske. In 2014's Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, the role of Ky would be taken over by Sam Riegel, but O'Brien would play Axl Low, and Johnny in the game's Story Mode. In 2021's Guilty Gear -Strive-, Axl Low would be played by Alex Gross. O'Brien would return as the voice of Johnny when the character was added as DLC in 2023.


Biography

Liam O'Brien was born in Weehawken, New Jersey, on May 28, 1976. He moved to New York City to attend the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and worked in theater productions.[1]

Other Major Roles

Some of O'Brien's other notable performances include: Asura in Asura's Wrath, Gill in Street Fighter V, Red XIII in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Red Skull in several Disney Channel Marvel shows, and was the voice director for The Last of Us, and Resident Evil 5 and 6.[2]
