Es-Watt[1]
エスワット?
1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 4-3. Playable in Guilty Gear RoA.
Quotes: "Grr!" "Grrrg" "Screeech" "Screech" "ggg" "screech" "gggi"

Mistaken by some to be human villagers who simply have a language barrier[2] or perhaps are deaf[3]. Referred to as not a gear[4], the enemy[5], a weird little creature[6].

When first encountered in Judgment, Es-Watt only have three attacks. They can slash with their claws or their tail, or leap into the air to perform an air claw attack. They can additionally dash quickly on all fours, and will frequently perform a threat display when seeing the player for the first time. In isolation, they are not intimidating, but frequently appear in large groups which can become more of a problem.

GGJ Crow Idle.gif
Skull Crow 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3. Despite lacking any known implemented attack moves or animations beyond their flying, many more sprites exist in the files for them. This includes some which appear to have been intended to have them landing on the ground, sitting, and taking off again. Perhaps those animations are used elsewhere.

These birds seem to lack any dedicated attack moves, as within the story mode they will only appear in flocks which fly from right to left across the screen. Their body is a damaging hitbox, but they have very little health. Notably, they do not need to killed to pass areas that force the player to stall until all enemies are killed; Simply wait for them to fly off the left side of the screen and the game will let the player continue.

GGJ Mannequin Idle.gif
1-2.

GGJ Mannequin Alt 1.png
4-1.

Mannequin 1-2, 4-1.

Referred to as beasts[7], or wooden dolls[6].

These enemies are quite slow, and seem to possess only a single attack consisting of swinging their arm at the player. Though they appear in groups, they are not particularly threatening and collapse into pieces when defeated.

GGJ Bat Idle.gif
4-1, 4-2.

GGJ Bat Alt 2.png
1-2, 1-3.
GGJ Bat Alt 1.png
3-1.

Bat 1-2, 1-3, 3-1, 4-1, 4-2. Like the birds, these enemies possess sprites for perching upside down and the associated landing and take-off that are currently believed to be unused.

These bats are nearly identical in function to the birds earlier on this page, existing as moving hitboxes that fly from right to left and die to any single attack (Probably, needs testing with the lowest damage moves).

GGJ Ansect Idle.gif
Ansect[source needed]
?
1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3.

When first encountered in 1-2, Ansects appear only as a bit of a stage hazard: On several of the staircase/slanted segments, ansect/s will be seen rolling from top to bottom and knocking everything over in their path like a boulder.

GGJ Es Watt 2 Alt 1.png
Unused.

Es-Watt second variant 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3. It is currently unknown what the relationship between the original Es-Watt, Es-Lord, and this variant 'Es-Watt' is.

The second variant of Es-Watt can be distinguished by their distinctive head shape, with spiked horns replacing the original antenna, two eyes instead of four, and a smoothed chin.

These Es-Watt possess all attacks of the first Es-Watt, but also possess a new attack wherein they blow up their chest region and then spit a steaming puddle of some harmful substance onto the ground.

Name Stages Notes
GGJ Goose Idle.gif
2-1.

GGJ Goose Alt 1.png
Unused.

Goose[source needed]
?
2-1.

These swampy enemies only possess a single attack, a claw swipe with a slow windup telegraphed by their eyes glowing. They are extremely fragile, and nearly any hit will be enough to kill them.

They collapse back into sludge when defeated.

GGJ Es Watt Spawner Idle.gif
2-1.

GGJ Es Watt Spawner Alt 1.png
2-2.

Es-Watt spawner 2-1, 2-2. Both variants of this enemy spawn green Es-Watt: in 2-1 it is the green Es-Watt with the darker underbelly, and in 2-2 it is the green Es-Watt with the light underbelly.

Though harmless by themselves, these peculiar objects periodically spit out basic Es-Watt enemies and frequently appear in pairs which can become a problem if they are not killed quickly. They're decently robust.

GGJ Cuffed Miniboss Idle.gif
2-1, 3-2.

GGJ Cuffed Miniboss Alt 1.png
3-1.
GGJ Cuffed Miniboss Alt 2.png
3-2.
GGJ Cuffed Miniboss Alt 3.png
4-1.

Cuffed miniboss 2-1, 3-1, 3-2, 4-1. None.

Though these large enemies are infrequent, usually appear alone, and only possess one basic attack, they can prove a formidable challenge if the player is unprepared. Their attack, consisting of a relatively slow but extremely damaging swing of their cuffed arms, causes a lot of knockback and stun if it lands. They have quite a lot of health, and will usually block when not using their attack.

GGJ Grub Idle.gif
2-2.

GGJ Grub Alt 1.png
3-2.
GGJ Grub Alt 2.png
4-2.
GGJ Grub Alt 3.png
4-3.

Grub 2-2, 3-2, 4-2, 4-3. None.

Though they only very slowly move around on the ground in pre-set patterns, these creatures are deceptively painful as their entire body is just a hitbox. Very low health but can stun the player into a lot of damage very quickly.

GGJ Es Lord Idle.gif
3-1.

GGJ Es Lord Alt 1.png
3-2.
GGJ Es Lord Alt 2.png
4-2.
GGJ Es Lord Alt 3.png
Unused.

Es-Lord[8]
?
3-1, 3-2, 4-2. Playable in Guilty Gear RoA.

Es-Lord are very similar to the original Es-Watt, possessing the abilities of the basic form but introducing a new move wherein they blow up their chest and spit spikes onto the ground in front of them.

GGJ Dog Idle.gif
3-1, 3-4.
Dog 3-1, 3-4. Many characters have unique sprites for riding, which can be found in the gallery.

This creature is unique in that it is not hostile, and instead something the player can hop on the back of to introduce powerful new moves to their arsenal for the duration of the levels they appear in.

The moves are as follows: A charge/headbutt attack activated with the kick button; a backwards tail swipe on slash; and a powerful laser attack on heavy slash. The dog is relatively slow and cannot turn or jump, but its attacks are incredibly strong.

GGJ Ra Ki Idle.gif
3-2, 3-4.
