RE: wanted files that aren't really wanted

Just noticed the list on your userpage for these files. A decent portion of them were fanart uploaded to the old wiki that we (admins) deleted because we wanted to avoid unofficial artworks on here, the new wiki. You can see Remnant13's Sol Chibi file is still hosted over there. Fanart can get kinda sketchy because a lot of the time it's stolen without credit from artists and, other than userpages, it doesn't have much of a purpose on a wiki for something like GG that has a ton of official art anyway. I'm gonna comb through your list and double check with the old wiki, Wayback Machine, and my own archives, and clear out stuff from your list that should either be undeleted or have its file link deleted to remove it from the Wanted Files category.
Thanks again for handling all this file organizational stuff for us, you're doing some really killer work that's deeply appreciated 💪

Alright, file links have been cleared. I put the Placeholder Chimaki png on the pages to reduce the amount of code edited and broken, and there are some other weird files floating around still that I'll have to clear later. A few of the files (like the Sol chibi) were used on a lot of pages and won't clear out of the Wanted Files category until the wiki server refreshes, which sometimes takes a while. --Sol Radguy 18:47, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
