2186년에 발생한 밸런타인 습격과 관련된 사건의 통칭.
휴면 중이나 봉인 중인 기어가 돌연히 소실되는 수수께끼의 현상으로 시작되어, 그 후 밸런타인이라고 이름을 밝힌 소녀가 이끄는 군단 「비주엘」에 의한 이률리아 수도 습격 사건까지를 「밥티스마 13」이라 부른다.
최종적으로는 솔과 카이 일행의 활약에 의해 밸런타인은 타도되고, 사건은 종식되었지만, 이률리아가 입은 물리적 피해는 물론, 전 세계의 민중들 사이에서 「정체불명의 적이 나타났다」는 인식이 퍼지는 결과가 되었다.

2186年に発生したヴァレンタイン襲撃に関連する事件の総称。
休眠中や封印中のギアが突如消失する謎の現象に端を発し、その後のヴァレンタインを名乗る少女が率いる軍団「ヴィズエル」によるイリュリア首都襲撃事件までを「バプテスマ13」と呼ぶ。
最終的にはソルやカイらの活躍によってヴァレンタインは打倒され、事件は終息を迎えたが、イリュリアが負った物理的被害はもちろんのこと、世界中の民衆の間に「得体の知れない敵が現れた」という認識が広まってしまう結果となった。

The name given to the sudden appearance of the Valentine menace.
It began with inactive or sealed Gears suddenly reactivating, followed by the equally sudden appearance of a girl named Valentine leading an army called the Vizuel. Their march quickly brought them to the very gates of Illyria.
Ultimately Sol and Ky were able to defeat Valentine and close the book on the Baptisma 13 event, but the damage sustained by Illyria, and the lack of any explanation behind Valentine's actions, made the victory feel somewhat hollow.
This chapter of history provides the plot for Guilty Gear 2. You can witness the chaos with your own two eyes.

先是处在休眠、封印状态的机兵纷纷神秘消失，此后一位自称“华伦泰”的少女率领“维兹埃尔”军团突袭了伊利里亚首都，资料中一般将这一系列事件称为“洗礼13”。
虽然最终索尔和凯打倒了华伦泰，但伊利里亚自然损失惨重，还让全世界民众都广泛认识到“出现了难以捉摸的敌人”。
當初是起自一個神秘現象——休眠及封印中的GEAR突然憑空消失，後來有個自稱是瓦倫蒂的少女，率領著名為「維茲艾爾」的軍團攻擊伊利里亞首都，這個事件稱為「洗禮13」。
雖然最終還是由於索爾和凱等人大展身手，將瓦倫蒂打倒，而平息了這個事件，但是不止伊利里亞受到了物理性損害，甚至全世界人民都知道「出現了不明身份的敵人」。
Es begann mit der plötzlichen Reaktivierung inaktiver oder versiegelter Gears, gefolgt von dem ebenso plötzlichen Auftauchen eines Mädchens namens Valentine, der Anführerin einer Armee, die sich Vizuel nannte. Sie stieß mit ihrer Armee schnell zu den Toren von Illyria vor.
Letzten Endes gelang es Sol und Ky, Valentine zu besiegen und das Baptisma-13-Ereignis zu beenden, doch der Schaden, den Illyria erlitten hatte, und das Fehlen jeglicher Erklärung für Valentines Taten ließen den Sieg irgendwie bedeutungslos erscheinen.
Auf diesem Kapitel der Geschichte fußt die Handlung von Guilty Gear 2. Man kann das Chaos mit eigenen Augen miterleben.
Empezó con la repentina reactivación de los Gears inactivos o sellados, seguida de la aparición igualmente repentina de una chica llamada Valentine que lideraba un ejército llamado el Vizuel. Su marcha los condujo velozmente hasta las puertas de Iliria.
Al final Sol y Ky pudieron derrotar a Valentine y poner punto final al evento del Baptisma 13, pero Iliria sufrió graves daños y no se encontraron razones que explicasen de alguna forma las acciones de Valentine, por lo que la victoria se sintió algo vacía.

Tout commence lorsque des Gears inactives ou scellées se réactivent, peu avant qu'une jeune fille du nom de Valentine ne débarque à la tête d'une armée, les Vizuel. Ils arrivent bientôt aux portes d'Illyria.
Sol et Ky finissent par la battre et mettent fin à ce triste événement, mais les dégâts qu'a subis la ville et l'absence totale de raisons pouvant expliquer les actes de Valentine donnent à la victoire un goût amer.
