なお人間の姿にならなかったのは「人の体を持った場合、パラケルスが自分のもとを去るのではないか」というアバの無意識的な恐怖からであり、パラケルス本人はそのことに気が付いていた。
長く共にいる中で彼女との旅路も悪くない、と思い始めていたが、それをどう伝えるか悩んでいた。

마기란 백야드 상에 존재하는 개인의 기억정보가 그릇이 될 수 있는 존재에 빙의하여 안정된 물체이다. 일본에서 팔백만의 신이나 요괴라 불리는 존재는 이 현상이 기원이다. 열쇠 형태이므로 열쇠를 좋아하는 아바의 마음에 들어 「파라켈스」라는 이름을 받고 남편이 되고 말았다. 그러나 파라켈스 본인은 인정하지 않으며, 틈만 나면 아바에게서 도망치려 하고 있다.

Il ne fait aucune distinction entre amis et ennemis et n'a qu'une idée en tête : rassasier enfin sa soif démesurée de violence, quoi qu'il en coûte à son porteur.

Paracelse est une étrange forme de vie appelée foyer magique, un objet qui vient du Jardin et auquel se lient les souvenirs d'une personne. Les légendes de divinités et de monstres, à l'instar des yokai japonais, proviennent probablement de foyers magiques qui ont réellement existé.
C'est sa forme de clé qui déclenche le coup de foudre d'A.B.A pour Paracelse. Elle lui donne ce nom et en fait immédiatement son mari, malgré les protestations véhémentes de celui-ci. Il essaie encore de lui échapper.
Maintenant que les Croisades sont terminées, Paracelse cherche désespérément de nouvelles sources de carnage, demandant à chaque puissant guerrier ou voyageur qu'il croise de devenir son nouveau maître. En vain, pour le moment : dès qu'il s'adresse à elles, ces personnes deviennent la cible de la jalousie dévorante d'A.B.A.

Il pouvait autrefois influer sur l'esprit de son porteur et contrôler ses pensées et émotions, mais il se retrouve désormais de l'autre côté du miroir après avoir été forcé de capituler face à la détermination féroce d'A.B.A.
Ses pensées sont si véhémentes qu'elles modifient la forme de Paracelse et l'éloignent toujours plus de son apparence originelle de hache.
Il n'en devient pas humain pour autant ; A.B.A a bien trop peur, inconsciemment, qu'il la quitte s'il devait être doté d'un corps humain. Une crainte qu'il est le seul à connaître.
Il commence progressivement à apprécier de voyager avec elle, même s'il ne sait pas comment l'exprimer.
