He's a mysterious person who continues to pull the strings behind history since the Gear Project was put into operation. He created Gears as living weapons and triggered the start of the Crusades. He single-handedly took control of a few people's hatred and interests, but his intentions are still not clear. As an old friend of Sol, they have a long, intertwined history.

異なる時代・異なる場所に異なる名前 ・ 異なる容姿で現れているにも関わらず、 その人物像がある一個
人の言動と一致することから、この不特定多数の存在が「あの男」 と一元化して呼ばれるようになった。 フ
レデリックと共にギア計画を推進した研究者でチームリーダーを務めていた。
「飛鳥＝R＝クロイツ」という名前であることが判明したが、この名が本名であるかは不明である。
また、最近になって飛鳥以外に「あの男」の正体にまつわる「第一の男」の存在が明らかとなった。 飛鳥の
師であり、法力の祖とも伝えられている。
