Strive Ending

Haikus were a mechanic introduced in Guilty Gear XX with Slayer's Instant Kill, All Dead. They have appeared in every game since, either as Slayer's Instant Kill or as his win quotes.

Haikus are randomized from a table of 3 lines, below are the list of available lines from each game, and the opposing character's reaction when applicable.

  • During the development of Slayer in -Strive-, while making sure the haikus were properly randomized, the testing team held a contest for who could get the most interesting poem.[2]
