Story

Background

Guilty Gear Xrd

Once the crisis is under control, Leo Whitefang meets with Colin Vernon E. Groubitz. The king is mostly checking in and making sure things have calmed down, but he expresses his concern about how no one seems to understand the gravity of their current situation. The two share information regarding Ramlethal's capture and whether or not the Cradle's appearance is connected to her. Vernon inquires about Elphelt Valentine, but Leo's unable to offer any information as she'll only talk to Ky Kiske. The president laments how Ky's actions are growing more unpredictable, and Leo tells him that if he were to look up "problem child" in his dictionary, there would be a picture of Ky.[1]

Shortly before Ariels publicly reveals herself to be the true mastermind behind the Cradle Incident and announces her intent to destroy humanity, Vernon accompanies Johnny to the latter's new airship, Gullinkambi Dark. When Vernon asks whether the airship is legal or not, Johnny proposes that Vernon look the other way on the matter in exchange for the Jellyfish Pirates' assistance in the fight against the Universal Will.[2]
