Guilty Gear -Strive-

In an update to Version 1.16, on March 28, 2022, Digital Figure Mode was added to the game, alongside Testament.[1]

When placed each character has 11 colors, 10 poses, and 10 expressions, all of which can be acquired via Fishing. This is a total of 28 modifications per character unlockable via this mode, as option 1 in each type is unlocked by default. So across the 20 characters there are 532 fishable Rewards. Additionally a player may also select the gaze direction (Center, Left, Right); Potemkin, Faust, and Zato's gazes are locked to the default. For Chaos, I-No and Nagoriyuki, whether or not they have mask, glasses, etc., may be toggled. These options do not need to be unlocked.

Players cannot change the lighting on effects, only the size.

Trivia

  • Former U.S. president Bill Clinton makes an appearance in this mode in the White House office background as a callback to the condemnation he made to the original Guilty Gear by saying the line "Kill Your Friends Guilt-free" as he shows the promotional flyer on his hand.
  • In Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Daryl's figure can only be obtained after watching the whole After Story C.
