A Downloadable Content or DLC for short, is a recurring element in the Guilty Gear series, it was first implemented on Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-.
DLC is a feature that allows players to download additional content after the initial release of a game upon paying a certain amount of real life money. The content received as DLC can vary from additional Playable Characters, new stages, new colors and/or quality of life updates, such as patches or bug fixes that serves as permanent replacement to the various "title update" rereleases of past games.
