Tír na nÓg

Tír na nÓg is a battle stage in Guilty Gear -Strive-. The stage was released as separate DLC content alongside Asuka's release.
Design
While the outer shape of Tír na nÓg is unknown, what is visible from the interior shows it to resemble a large spaceship.
Story
Tír na nÓg used to be located under the White House. It was built during the Crusades, as part of a secret project by a number of high-ranking officials to flee off-planet should humanity be defeated by the Gears. While the plan was never enacted, the space colony it was intended to dock at was completed, and holds supplies enough to support four hundred people for over a century[1] In order to prevent the Tome of Origin from falling into the wrong hands, Asuka R. Kreutz leaves Earth using Tír na nÓg.[2] Living within the space colony on the moon, he broadcasts his radio show to the people of Earth.[3]
Trivia
- Tír na nÓg means "Land of Youth" or "Country of Youth" in Irish, and is named in reference to the Irish folktale of "Oisín i dTír na nÓg" or "Oisín and the Land of Youth".
- The drones present taking care of Tír na nÓg (such as the garden section and library section) are the same drones from Asuka's boss fight from Guilty Gear 2 -Overture-. Within their wheel-like backsides is the text: "Heaven made man for its reason. Men respect men for their own sake."
