Zepp is a recurring location in the Guilty Gear series, appearing as Potemkin's battle stage in the Guilty Gear X and XX games. It houses the Zepp Central Arsenal. It is a tremendous ultra-dreadnought-class airship the size of a small country. Though it has the capacity to travel anywhere in the world, it generally remains above the Indian Ocean to prevent diplomatic disputes. Its cruising speed is approximately 32 knots.[1]

Design

The Zepp stage has three different versions throughout the series.

The first debuts in Guilty Gear X, featuring a junkyard with derelict machinery and a broken suspended railway, as well as a view of factories in the background. The stage is set at sunset in X and midday in Guilty Gear XX.

Guilty Gear Isuka has Zepp as a stage only in GG Boost Mode, where the player character fights hordes of enemies aboard an industrial elevator that rises as the stage progresses, beginning amidst machinery and progressing to show a view of the country.

In Guilty Gear XX Λ Core, Zepp has a steampunk look, featuring large pipes and valves throughout the stage. It features a number of buildings that mix classic architecture with machinery, all under a dusty, daytime sky. A stairway leading below into the machinery is visible at the stage's center.
