Village of Witches

Torioria is a witch country that is comprised of floating islands. Torioria was created by a community persecuted because of their unique magical abilities. In the story of Guilty Gear 2 -Overture- it is the location where Sol Badguy and Sin's journey to Illyria began upon seeing a Sol's face on a bounty poster. In the game, the country is a small, cramped stage.

Trivia

  • "Torioria" is a corruption of Triora, a comune in Italy known for being the site of witch trials during the Renaissance era. However, it is unclear if they are truly meant to be the same location.
