Guilty Gear XX Slash
Guilty Gear XX Slash is the second update to Guilty Gear XX after Guilty Gear XX ♯Reload and, overall, the eleventh installment of the Guilty Gear series. Released only in Japan, Slash is a revision that is more pronounced than the previous one regarding rebalances and adds two new characters.
Preorders of the initial PlayStation 2 release of Slash came with a bonus DVD, Absolute GUILTY GEAR Chronicle. The DVD included a brief recap of all of the Guilty Gear releases leading up to Slash, tournament footage, teasers for the upcoming Slash release, and preview footage for Order-Sol and A.B.A. Little over a year after this release, Guilty Gear XX Slash was re-released in Japan as part of "Sega the Best" collection on March 15, 2007.[1]
