Leo's Twin Blades
Unnamed twin blades are Leo Whitefang's signature weapons which he wields in all of his game appearances. They are versatile weapons that he is able to shapeshift.
Design
Leo's twin blades can be described as greatswords that are shaped like large crosses. The blades are unique in that they possess handles on the sides of the crossguards so that they are wielded as long fist-weapons rather than as actual swords.
Abilities
Using his twin blades, Leo can harness powerful energy that can be launched in waves (as shown through his moves Graviert Würde and Stahl Wirbel). Additionally, they also seem capable of rotating 360 degrees around his fists, as seen when he switches between his two main fighting stances. The blades can even rotate at high speeds, as seen when he is using Stahl Wirbel. When not engaged in combat, they've been shown to be capable of shrinking down to a portable size. Although not fully explored, it is shown that they can also take on alternate shapes, with Leo's Instant Kill being the prime example. In this Instant Kill the ends of the blades extend into the shapes of two-halves of a lion's maw, and are put together as he divebombs his opponent. It is unknown what types of magic the twin blades are currently able to harness, though it can be speculated that their shape-changing capabilities are a result of him using magic on them to take on the shapes he desires. Magic would also explain how he gets the blades to rotate without affecting his ability to slash wtih them.
