Sebass is a major character in the novel Guilty Gear X Lightning the Argent. He is the president of the pharmaceutical company Blackard that sells the miraculous Vitae.

Story
Sebass first appears promoting his medicine to Ky Kiske. He crushes a dog's paw and heals it instantly using the Vitae. Suspicious about the medicine and the disappearance of people, Ky heads off for an investigation.
Sebass' aim is to advance Gear research, specifically in regard to their military applications, and his medicine is eventually revealed to be Gear cells that invade the host's body. He was also responsible for Solaria's Gear conversion, and was planning to use her as a Command Type. Ky confronts him and he takes his own medicine to transform into a large Gear. The two battle with Ky emerging as a victor and Sebass dead.
