Leap
Leap is a supporting character in the Guilty Gear series, who is one of Johnny's crewmates. Unlike the other Jellyfish Pirates members, she is much older than the rest of the crew. She is the chef of the group and a maternal figure to them, with them referring to her as "Auntie Leap". She also takes charge as the administrative director of the crew.
Like the other Jellyfish Pirates members, she joins May in her in-game battle pose and her Instant Kill. She is also featured alongside May in her outro in Guilty Gear Xrd and -Strive-. She is the one who causes the final blow because of her weight and size.
While she isn't named after a specific month like the other Jellyfish Pirate members, her name comes from a leap year.

Trivia
- In Guilty Gear Isuka, Robo-Ky II's version of Zappa/Raoh's Bellows Malice has a robot-version of Leap via only her upper torso appear in the place of Raoh, flinging giant-metallic octopus sausages with robot faces in the place of the lightning orbs from Raoh's hammer.
- In Guilty Gear Isuka, each time the "May Beach" stage is selected there is a 1/16 chance that Leap, who is having a barbecue in the background, will be wearing a pink bikini instead of her regular blue one-piece swimsuit.[1]
- While it is not known of Johnny's reasons to take in Leap or her backstory, his chivalry can be seen to also extend to ensuring the elderly have a place to belong and be taken care of, especially for those who have no known family. It is suggested that like much of the cast, Leap may have lost her family and/or community to the Crusades.
